The GUNDAM had been my favourite robotic anime when I was teen and the RX series in 0080, 08th MS Team and 0083 are definitely my choices. The RX series is more practical like the military weapons found in our real world. The newer generations such as WING, X, A, SEED, Unicorn or newtype stuffs...etc are too far from reality. Sorry, I just can't accept the latter.😓

Back to the Hi-v GUNDAM. I got this 1/220 scale back in 1992. By that time, the main scale of the GUNDAM model were 1/144 and 1/220. The scale really didn't matter to me. The build quality did. Because the 1/144 were usually meant the cheap model from Bandai and their build quality were very terrible. The Hi-v was the newest GUNDAM available in the market by that time. It inherited the successful image from its previous model RX-93 excepts that it appeared in the novel. Not movie. I even never read this novel series till now.🤣

Due to the scale is very small. The processing could be faster because parts are small. The sanding surface is also smaller. But I have to pay extra attention to avoid breaking any parts unexpectedly. The finished model is about 10cm tall. It's an ideal gadget to be placed on the desktop.

Although the newtype human element really isn't my taste in the story. I still love the look of this GUNDAM.

1/220 Hi-v GUNDAM RX-93-v2
From Mobile Suit GUNDAM - Char's Counterattack novel series.

A 1/220 scale of GUNDAM is roughly 10cm tall only. Pretty handy.

The way of display is to pretend the style of display cabinet in those G.Kit stores in 90's.

From the mechanical perspective.
I just don't know how the manoeuvrability work out on this GUNDAM.
There're only 2 apogee motors on the back. Does it have enough propulsion power?
(Concerning because GUNDAM usually is moving very fast - 好Q快啊! 好Q快啊! 就係咁樣。)

So many gears on the back.
In reality. I don't think it can work within the atmosphere on Earth.

Raised shield. Pretend to drawing some fires.

Most modellers would just make a regular standing post for the robots.
But I would prefer it is flying in action.

The B-Club packing box. It looks very neat.
